Use a racing wheel pedal, a joystick or a gamepad as keyboard and mouse
controls in any game or program, with a profile for each one. The pedal
holds a key of your choice; push it further and it steps a setting up.

HOW TO RUN
Double-click PedalSpace.exe. Keep the _internal folder next to it.
Nothing gets installed. Your settings go in %APPDATA%\PedalSpace.
To remove PedalSpace, delete this folder.

"Windows protected your PC"? That's SmartScreen warning about a new,
unsigned program. Click "More info", then "Run anyway".

GETTING STARTED
PedalSpace walks you through it the first time:
  1. Make a profile. Name it after the game or program.
  2. Connect your controller. Gamepads work straight away: RT is the
pedal. Wheels, pedals and joysticks: click "Set up pedal...", push
the pedal all the way, then let it go.
  3. Click into your program and play.
Hover over any control for what it does.

Keys pause while the PedalSpace window is in front. Closing PedalSpace
always lets go of every key.

UPDATES
When it starts, PedalSpace asks arcanum-forge.com for the current version
(it sends its own version number and nothing else). If a newer one exists,
the Updates panel says so; Update now downloads it, checks it against the
published fingerprint, and restarts PedalSpace as the new version. Turn the
check off in the Updates panel and nothing is ever sent.
